Ok, here it goes and hopefully everyone will adhere to it. The service play forum in 2009 will be service plays 24 hours per day. That way when it is 11:00 at night, it will be easy to see what the cappers picked to check a record or two and the will be no need to go through 22 pages of score by the minute updates on NCAA Div 3C Rugby scores. Let's create a separate sub thread each day for begging/asking for a touts picks, score updates and usual banter. It will make all of our lives less complicated and CPAW will be very happy. I did not tell CPAW I would post this or solicit his opnion on it but call it a hunch, CPAW is a bright articluate guy who will appreciate a little pleasantry by all of us to make his generous efforts easier.

Oh yeah , A Happy and Healthy New year to everyone, and a little betting success would be nice too.

It would be great if it would work, but you know some assclown will be in the thread tomorrow morning asking for so-and-so's pick or letting everyone know that somebody has a big play.

I was wrong. People couldn't even wait until morning before asking for plays in the service play thread.

I see what you're saying because the chatter does clutter up the thread, but in all honesty the best way for people to get a service play posted is to ask in the daily thread, not the requests & chatter thread.

I think the best solution would be to have a daily thread that is for service requests and posts, and then another thread that is only for chatting and/or in-game discussions. IMO the requests and chatter doesn't have many people actually posting service plays, so why would people make their requests there?

And even though the daily threads are cluttered, people can always use the search function or Control-F. It amazes me how lazy people can be.

Some of the RIDICULOUS everday request (in some cases VERY AVG. cappers) get out of control somedays. In most circumstances if anyone sees it out there it will be posted. If people want to make the same request over and over then I.M.O. put it in a chatter thread & try & lobby (w/ evidence why you want his plays) DON'T CLOG UP THE SERVICE THREAD. :toast:
